Time Filter Firmware Release Notes

Version 1.1.0 (6/26/2012)

System functionality split into two major modes of operation: Variable Neutral Density and Shuttering. The switch between the two modes is set in the “Settings” menu.
When in Variable ND mode, the density can be changed from 2.0 to 6.5 stops continuously (previously allowed only 0.5 stop adjustment).
When in Variable ND mode, the density can be adjusted by use of an external signal.
Added ability to sync shuttering via timecode.
Added Tessive-B shutter. Previous “Tessive” shutter now renamed “Tessive-A”.
Small bug fixes.

Added support for 6.6 inch filters.
Improved stability of saving and loading presets in the event of unexpected power failures.
Phase calibration range limited to the time of a single frame, wraps to a negative time.
Small bug fixes.

Phase calibration number display changed from arbitrary 0-255 to meaningful time in milliseconds.
User interface nomenclature changed: the previous menu item “Calibration” changed to “Delay Cal”, “Window” change to “Shutter”, and the shutter type of “360-degree” is now named “none”.

Variable neutral density options added. Three ND options when shuttering, and variable in 0.5 stop increments when not shuttering.
Added support for the ARRI ALEXA and RED EPIC native sync.
